Scottsdale Airpark Commercial Landscaping

The Scottsdale Airpark is the business park wrapped around Scottsdale Airport, and the City calls it one of Arizona's largest employment centers. It's a dense mix of offices, flex buildings, showrooms and light industrial space, with new mixed-use projects filling in the gaps. Pro Turf maintains commercial landscapes here on scheduled routes from our Mesa base.

Scottsdale Airpark, Scottsdale

One huge business park, block by block

Also known as: The Airpark, Greater Airpark, Scottsdale Airport area

The jets get a runway. Your parking lot islands deserve at least a decent haircut.

The City's Greater Airpark Character Area Plan, adopted in 2010, covers land around the airport from Thunderbird Road north toward Grayhawk, between Scottsdale Road and roughly 90th Street and the Loop 101. It holds Scottsdale's largest industrial-zoned area. A 2020 Colliers report cited by Site Selection counted about 3,300 companies, more than 59,700 workers and 3,300 acres. That is a lot of parking lot islands, retention basins and street frontage, most of it owned by different people. Your property only needs to look better than the one next door, but it helps to look good on its own, too.

Many Airpark properties were built in waves, so one block can have a brand-new office next to a warehouse with 30-year-old drip lines. We start with a walk: valves, controllers, emitters, tree clearance over drive aisles and signs, and any bare spots where granite has gone thin. Then we set a visit schedule that keeps entries sharp for clients and keeps trees off truck routes and loading docks. For hands-on backflow work in Scottsdale we bring in a reputable certified vendor partner and coordinate it with your irrigation fixes.

The northern edge keeps growing. At Hayden Road and the Loop 101, the 134-acre Cavasson project was planned around 500,000 square feet of office space plus a hotel. New landscapes like that need extra care their first year while plants root in. And big Airpark-area events, from the Phoenix Open to Barrett-Jackson, mean traffic; we plan routes around them so nobody waits on us. Our 24/7 emergency line is answered by a live person if a main line breaks overnight.
